I would suggest replacing f(p) with y and p with x to begin with. Then use your favorite method of plotting lines to plot each. The y axis would be labeled f(p) and the x axis would be labeled p.

There are several ways to plot lines, using the slope and the y-intercept from the slope intercept form of the equation, a point an the slope from the point slope form or simply making a table. You can use which ever one you are most comfortable with.
