check my work

OpenStudy (highschoolmom2010):

\[y=\sqrt{2*leg}\] \[y=\sqrt{2}*8\] \[y=8\sqrt{2}\]

OpenStudy (phi):

yes, except for the very first statement... the leg is not inside the square root but your answer is correct. and it should be clear x is also 8

OpenStudy (highschoolmom2010):

i didnt know how to move it over -_- so y and x are the same value

OpenStudy (highschoolmom2010):

@phi

OpenStudy (phi):

?

OpenStudy (phi):

**i didnt know how to move it over *** that is awfully cryptic. do you mean how to write y = sqrt{2} * leg ?

OpenStudy (phi):

you have an isosceles triangle (2 "base" angles are equal) so the two sides are also equal

OpenStudy (highschoolmom2010):

i wasnt sure if it would move it over by its self

OpenStudy (highschoolmom2010):

oh ty for explaining that to me :DD
