ok
but hope you know that the sinus of an angle is equal opposite side divide hypothenuse
yes ?
OpenStudy (highschoolmom2010):
\[10=\sqrt{2}*x\]
\[x=\frac{ 10 }{ \sqrt{2}}\]
\[x=\frac{ 10 }{ \sqrt{2} }*\frac{ \sqrt{2} }{ \sqrt{2} }\]
\[x=\frac{ 10\sqrt{2} }{ 2 }\]
\[x=5\sqrt{2}\]
OpenStudy (highschoolmom2010):
@jhonyy9 ive never done that before

so than using this you can rewriring it
sqrt2 x
---- = -----
2 10
cross multiplie
10sqrt2 = 2x divide by 2
and will get
x = 5sqrt2
right ?
OpenStudy (phi):
yes, you did it correctly. Jhonny is using trigonometry, which you have not studied yet
OpenStudy (highschoolmom2010):
thats my next lesson...... :D cool so i understand it :DD
ty @phi @jhonyy9
