Which of the following is an example of simple harmonic motion? A. A police car shining a spotlight into buildings as it drives by B. The motion of a rotating beacon C. Calculating the angle of elevation for a building D. A ball bouncing on a sidewalk

I thought it was B.
Well, the police car is pretty linear unless is turns it A rotating becon is like the unit circle rotation. The angle of the building has noithing harmonic about it unless it is a really strange building. And a bouncing ball will slowly bounce lower and lower and lower....
And all that means you are right.
Thanks! :)
