OpenStudy (georgia412):

2x+5y=20 I rearranged it to be y=mx+c which is -2/5x+ 4... Is this right?? Also how do you put this on a sketch graph

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

that is correct

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

to graph y=mx+b start with the y intercept which is b, and in your case 4 then draw the line from there using the slope given

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

so start at (0,4) then go to the left 2 and up 5, then connect the dots with a line, then extend the line

OpenStudy (georgia412):

Thanks :) should the line be straight across almost?

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

it will be straight

OpenStudy (georgia412):

Thanks for your help :)

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

you can also let x = 0 and the y intercept is 4 then let y = 0 and the x intercept is 10 then draw a line through those points
