For any program, it is designed to work on a particular OS. To get other programs to run you need one of two things: An emulator, like Wine http://www.winehq.org/ , which may or may not work, or a virtual machine like Virtual Box, https://www.virtualbox.org/ , which will let you install the OS that is needed and then run things.

It will not run nativity.  It would need something to let it run under Fedora.

You can run games in a virtual environment.  However, performance can be a problem.

It all comes down to what you want to use the machine for.  If playing windows based games is the main reaosn for the computer, then a windows based OS would be better.  But if you just want to do thinks like that sometimes, you can try it in a virual machine and see if it work well.
