OpenStudy (uri):

Let's treat all FLVS,Connections and Connexus students equally.

OpenStudy (jasmineflvs):

???

OpenStudy (uri):

And what about us? :3 Students from different countries?

OpenStudy (jasmineflvs):

yes all flvs or online school students...

OpenStudy (uri):

Well what do you get by making a new section?

OpenStudy (jasmineflvs):

idk...you tell me

OpenStudy (uri):

Math questions will be in Math section..English in English section and so on..Why would anyone make *FLVS* section? o_O

OpenStudy (jasmineflvs):

well one thing is it would be all flvs subjects in one thing...another thing is collaboration assessments

OpenStudy (jasmineflvs):

anyone else have any thoughts about it?????

OpenStudy (jasmineflvs):

guess not kk

OpenStudy (abb0t):

No. That's just a way to get more students to post more quiz and exam questions on there. It promotes cheating, not learning.

OpenStudy (jasmineflvs):

no Preetha said there would be strict rules..so yeah no cheating

OpenStudy (abb0t):

That "no cheating" policy is the same for all study sections. You're not allowed to post up quiz or exam questions, yet people still do it. It's very difficult to regulate cheating when it is done over the internet, unless OpenStudy partners with FLVS and OpenStudy administers the quiz or exam. Although, it might make sense to include a timeframe for the question, kind of like that app 'snap-chat' where you are allowed to view the question for a certain amount of time and the question closes. However, that really limits the user from getting much help if it really isn't an exam question. In that case, it would be best to just post it in the appropriate section on OpenStudy. Plus, who would administer the FLVS section? Not everyone is skilled in subjects which are not directly related to each other. For instance, a mathematician might not be very helpful in English questions. I think that the questions that students have should just be left to the appropriate section where people who are strong in each area can give the best correct help possible rather than simply trying to do their own research on the internet. The research is not the answerers job, it is the students.

OpenStudy (jasmineflvs):

i totally agree on the time limit!!!!...yeah i have seen many people cheat on exams

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Jas, whats FLVS? ive got no idea
