Have you learned about graph transformations yet by chance?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no

OpenStudy (psymon):

Ah. Makes this a little more difficult then. Well, without knowledge of transformations, here is what I can tell ya about this. Start off by setting x = 0 and finding y. After that, every point you plot will be reflected onto the other side of the vertex. So basically, if you choose x = 1, you'll get the same y-value at x = -1. If you choose x = 2, you'll get the same y-value at x = -2.

im confused

OpenStudy (psymon):

Well, find y when x = 0 first, Can we do that and plot it? :P
