YES OR NO QUESTION Determine if the ordered pairs (-4,2) and (-1,1) are solutions of the following linear inequality in two variables. 1.)Is the ordered pair (-4,2) a solution of the linear inequality ? 2.) is the ordered pair (-1,1) a solution of the linear inequality??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the inequality is 5x-y≤3

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

first it would be helpful to put the inequality in slope intercept form (y=mx+b) so you can better tell wether or not it applies to the problem @lashell123

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

I am giving you the process because we cannot just give answers here on OS... If you have further question, please refer to the Code of Conduct http://openstudy.com/code-of-conduct
