OpenStudy (campbell_st):

well the question looks like \[\frac{2x + 4}{3x + 6}\] both the numerator and denominator can be factored... can you do that.... and what do you get..?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

factor it by 2 and you get 2 over 3

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

well factoring \[\frac{2(x +2)}{3(x+2)}\] the common factor in the numerator and denominator is obvious... leaving your equivalent fraction.

thank you now I see that you i cancel the x+2 and the ratio is 2/3 thanks 4 ur help
