The graph below represents which system of inequalities?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A. y < -2x + 6 y < x + 2 B. y less than or greater than -2x + 6 y less than or greater than x + 2 C. y < 2 over 3x - 2 y > 2x + 2 D. None of the above

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[B. y \le-2x+6 y \le x+2\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i redid B hope that helps

OpenStudy (ivettef365):

one of the graph is y > x +2 it is not >= because the lines are dashed the other graph is y <-2x + 6

OpenStudy (ivettef365):

a solid line is > or equal to

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Those are the correct choices I double checked

OpenStudy (ivettef365):

then it should be none of the above and on choice B you have less than and greater than is it less than or is it greater than ???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its less than or equal to

OpenStudy (ivettef365):

ok, it can not be less than of equal to because of the dashed line

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so its none of the above

OpenStudy (ivettef365):

It can not be the first one because y<x+2, then the shaded area would be all small numbers that is the other side. it can not be the second because it is NOT equal to it can definitely not be the third one because y>2x+2, the slope of that line is 1 and not 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you

OpenStudy (ivettef365):

yw :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I agree it is D
