Could someone tell me the steps that are required to inscribe a circle inside a square? I just need the steps so I may finish my last FVLS assignment.
totes im doing flvs to
Flvs sucks man... I am doing three classes
ikr the assignments are pointless to
totes im doing geometry are u?
Yup
|dw:1375736233001:dw|??????
@invictus212 @Cami.j.sinclair It's a cool way to finish a course, yet it can be annoying at times.
totes are u doing geometry?
@hobbs978 This is it, I just need the steps now.
No I am reviewing Algebra 1. Taking French 2 and World History
@invictus212 Yes, I am almost done, final assignment. Then in 9th grade I do Algebra 2.
?? the steps, you draw a circle inside a square so that the edges are touching
Lol
totes message me who ur instructor is
@dumbcow Thats what I thought, but there must be some type of steps shown.
@dumbcow Thats how the entire FVLS course is designed, each assignment must have work shown with it.
draw a square draw a circle in the square complete
totes send me all ur assignments please!!!!!!!!!
The boarding school I'm going to needs my transcript ASAP to place me in Algebra 2 honors, otherwise It's geometry all over again!
totes message me ur skype
@hobbs978 How could it be that simple? It is never that simple with FVLS and I am afraid I might screw up. I've been scouring the internet but it only shows how to inscribe a circle in a triangle.
@TotesMcGoats do u have a skype? i wanna know if u can send me some of ur assignments
Is there another way to this for a hexagon or a pentagon?
dumbcow explained it in dept but asking someone for steps and how to draw something is just weird..
@hobbs978 I completely agree, but there must be a way. I think I'll contact my Geometry teacher.
for inscribing a circle in any polygon the circle must touch the midpoints of every edge of polygon
oh assuming its a regular polygon
@dumbcow So can I just make four midpoints of each side and draw a circle with them?
yep
@dumbcow Thanks, I think I get it now. I hope I didn't waste too much of your time. BTW I am new to OpenStudy and understand I can reward people for the best response. How do I do this?
click on the blue button next to my name that says "Best Response" ...or send a check or money order to me :)
@dumbcow Is it possible to reward 2 people?
not that i know of....they changed the rules a while back because medal giving got out of control
@dumbcow Thanks for the explanation, and I'll be sure to press the blue button!
