For each number of days in the table, divide the number of pages by the number of days. What do you get? That number is how many pages she reads per day. Now multiply that number by 30 to find your answer.

And where did the 3(10) = 30 come from? Where is there any mention of 10 in this problem? What does the 3 represent?

@papsmurf I was just trying to understand how she got her answer. Her answer is the same as mine, and I think that is the correct answer, but I don't understand how she got there. I don't see any of the numbers she claims to have used to find the answer anywhere in the problem. Can you explain what she did?
