PLEASE HELPP?!?!
How were these Social Problems addressed during the Industrial Age? (Health Hazards, Safety, and Child Labor.) Was it addressed successfully? Are the social problems still an issue today? how?

In the beginning of the industrial age in Britain children as young as six worked 12 to 16 hours a days. This was not totally in error because the adults did the same and children prepared for adulthood with on the job training. Britain eventually changed their laws, before the US, and started educating their youth. The US passed child labor laws around 1900 and started educating their youth but set up the education system so children would be prepared to enter the work force. length of class and bells when going from one class to the next. This was best suited for factory work.
Safety and Health was always an issue in the work place and unions were formed to address them. Eventually the US created a Department to address this issue, OSHA. OSHA is vastly under funded and abuses in the work place still occur because workers may be afraid to report them. A recent example is the fertilizer plant that blow up in Texas which had over the Federal limit in storage.
