my mistake the quadratic formula is
\[x=\frac{ b \pm \sqrt{b ^{2}-4ac}}{2a }\]

I got x=8 and x=-4/15
factors are (x-8)(15x+4)

\[x \frac{ -4 }{ 15}\]
\[15x=-4\]
\[15x+4=0\]
