what is the difference b/w laplace ,fourier transform ,fourier series , z transform..........when to use dem...physical significance of each....

Laplace is based on Differential Equation and is used in circuit analysis and control theory. Fourier series/transform is based on frequency and is used in communication theory. Z transform is used in discrete analysis
