OpenStudy (paystub-2):

Im doing a report on Life of Pi. Im suppose to pick 3 scenes from pt.2 of the book, and make a photo collage. Then it says to write an essay on "how and why," my, "composition of images reflect that scene". When it says "reflect" did it mean to create pics. that represent the scenes or make pics of the scene?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just depict that scene

OpenStudy (anonymous):

probably either way

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hm, that's a confusing one. I would probably say it means using pics that represent the scene, otherwise it wouldn't have asked you to reflect on them. Probably a good idea to ask your teacher, though.

OpenStudy (paystub-2):

so what pics do you think i should put to refelct them?

OpenStudy (paystub-2):

if i dont find out then ill jus get some pic of the scenes and then just describe them

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I've never read the book, but reread the scenes you've picked and note what comes to your mind image-wise when you're reading, like do you see the tiger, or the boy, etc. Don't forget if you do reflecting the scene rather than directly showing it, you can do some more abstract images that have less to do with the physical scene and more of just your impression of it (like maybe the tiger looks more like a freaky horror movie monster because he's angry and feral). Make sense?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i loved life of pi but i dont remember what happened in part 2 specifically

OpenStudy (paystub-2):

that actuall makes almost perfect sense thanx
