Jenny traveled to the lake and back. On the trip there she traveled 80 km/h and on the return trip she went 60 km/h. How long did the trip there take if the return trip took four hours?

use the equation d=rt Distance=rate x time

ok thanks :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

d = 4(60) d = 240 mi one way : Find the time for outbound trip, the same distance at 80 km/hr 240/80 = 3 hrs
