just think @msellier it cannot be the last two terms because there are negatives in them but no negatives in the trinomial, so it is either the first choice or the second choice

if you factor them out this is what you would get for the first choice

(3x+1)(x+4)
3x^2+12x+x+4
=3x^2+13x+4

and the second coice

(3x+4)(x+1)
3x^2+3x+4x+4
=3x^2+7x+4
