get the y on one side and everything else on the other side by subtracting 2x from both sides. Can you do that ?
2x+y=9 -2x -2x -------- y=-2x+9

but i did show a process (kinda) y=-2x+9 is also equal to..... Hint: flip the slope and y-intercept around...
