If tanh(x)=1/2 find the values of the other hyperbolic functions

OpenStudy (sumi29):

The only way I know of through which this can be solved easily is this: Use the identity tanh(x/2) = sqrt[(cosh(x)-1)/(cosh(x)+1)]. Once you get this, use the identity cosh(x/2) = sqrt[(cosh(x)+1)/2]. This should surely get you the answer. Once you have cosh(x), getting sinh(x) shouldn't be a problem.
