It costs 4 dollars to rent bowling shoes at Fun Lanes Bowling. Each game of bowling costs 6 dollars. Salim wants to figure out how much it will cost him to bowl. He will need to rent shoes. For this problem, let g be the number of games bowled, and let t be the total cost. Is g the dependent variable or the independent variable? Explain how you know. PLZ HELP

I believe this statement would make the equation look like this----- 4+g=t (because $4 for the shoes, g for the games, and t for the total)
And the total [t] is determined upon the value of [g]....sooooooo [g] is the independent variable! All done :)
