Why magnetic lines donot intersect each other

OpenStudy (jmark):

Each line of force of a magnetic field is traveling in the same direction so can be thought of as having the same polarity. Because they all have the same polarity, either N or S, they repel each other. These lines of force can be made to align more densely for a stronger magnetic effect but never intersect or touch each other. Learn more about Magnetic Energy Generator http://goo.gl/TGEd8P
