Is dissolving salt a chemical or physical change. Please explain your reasons.

OpenStudy (mayankdevnani):

It is a physical change. Because when you dissolve salt in water,it then fully dissolves . And by CRYSTALLIZATION method, you can get back salt again from dissolving matter. and physical change is that process in which you can get back the same thing , OR it is a reversible change.
