x^2-9x+14

Do you have to factorize? @jmarie88

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes-- I'm finding this to be very complicated :-(

OpenStudy (uri):

What is the number when adding or subracting -9 and multiplying 14?

OpenStudy (uri):

-7-2=-9 -7x-2=14

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3 & 7-- those are the two common factors I came up with... or is that wrong?

OpenStudy (uri):

So, x^2-9x+14 x^2-7x-2x+14 Now do you know how to take common?
