Post question.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cos pie/6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@math_inc

OpenStudy (anonymous):

pi/6 = 30 degrees and cos is adjacent over hypotenuse does that help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

kinda

OpenStudy (anonymous):

post your answer and I will let you know if it is right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i already had to move on

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or wait i can get it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is that correct?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no you want to look at the triangle that has the 30 degree on it and then the easiest way to remember which side is which the hypotenuse is the slanted one. And adjacent is the one closest to the number that is not slanted. Then just plugin the value for each.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

squ rt of 3?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im lost on this one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

getting closer: adjacent = sqrt of 3 and the hypotenuse = 2 if you look at the picture do you see how those match up?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh its

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes :) good thing to remember is SohCahToa Good luck with the rest of trig :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks!
