no you want to look at the triangle that has the 30 degree on it and then the easiest way to remember which side is which the hypotenuse is the slanted one. And adjacent is the one closest to the number that is not slanted. Then just plugin the value for each.

getting closer: adjacent = sqrt of 3 and the hypotenuse = 2 if you look at the picture do you see how those match up?
