The united states currently is in bad term with Cuba. The Us has an embargo of Cuban goods which means at this moment Cuban goods are not allowed in the United Sates. Also tension is high due too the bay of pigs invasion launched by the US during the height of the Cold war by president JFK.

It is true but the main reason we don't support Cuba is because its an Socialistic/Communistic country not because its a Dictatorship. The proof of this is the US has and does support Totalitarian/Dictatorship regimes around the world when its in their interest.
