What is "btech"? Biotechnology? 
If that's the case, you should probably do something related to both chemistry/ electronics, maybe electric generators for power?

I would definitely pick something you're interested in! Because I don't know the guidelines of your project, I don't know what I should suggest! I'm much more into physics and electronics. But if you wanted to pursue a chemistry project, then you can ask a question in the chem section to let them know what you're thinking about and if it sound like a good project.

So, why don't you say what you're interested in and what the project has to be like? Then I think I and other people on OpenStudy will be more able to help you out! :)
