@kelliegirl33 How is WW2 like a continuation of WW1?

OpenStudy (radar):

Main combatants were the same.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Many grievances as a result of the Treaty of Versailles that ended world war 1 were never forgotten and carried over to incite world war 2.

OpenStudy (radar):

Except Japan was not in the fray.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Anything else? :o

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The reason for the start of WWII was violation of the treaty of Versailles(the treaty at the end of WWI) by Germany.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well....WW 1 caused Germany to get in great debt because they were left responsible for the damages done in WWI. Then Hitler began to rise up by promising those in poverty great jobs and riches and many Germans followed him and went along with his racist and prejudice ways. There are many underlying causes of WW2, namely the Nazi movement to create a new world, but WW! had something to do with that.

Thanks!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't really know what to say....Germany believed that WW1 had not ended correctly. They wanted revenge for everything they lost in WW1. http://gadabyte.com/ww-ii/ww-i-ii.html
