This regular polyhedron has 8 faces, and is therefore an octahedron. Each edge has two faces, and each vertex has 4 edges. Can you then figure out the number of vertices and edges?

could it be 10?
You can work it out like this: 8 triangles (faces) * 3 sides each = 24 edges But it takes two sides (one from each face) to to make one edge, so there are 24/2=12 edges. Double check this from the link showing the picture.
