Since yesterday (7 August 2013) every time I post an answer, I get a file trying to download to my computer that I need to authorize. In addition, the blue box Post Response becomes gray and doesn't go back to blue. I need to exit that post go to another one and come back to be able to respond to the post I'm working on again. What is happeneing? I tried using OS in 2 different computers with the same results.

Another problem that also started at the same time is that the right side of the screen, where a post that I am resonding to is located, keeps jumping up and down when the ads above change. I can't respond to questions with this happening. It drives me nuts.

You could try to enable adblock plus in your browser. If the problem is caused by the advertisements, it will probably fix it. We normally don't encourage users to use an adblocker since OpenStudy is dependent of ads but you can always try if it works :)

hmm, I've never heard of that browser. Maybe you could try OS in chrome to check if the same problem arises.

I just switched to Google Chrome. The problems are solved, and now I also have spell checking in OS. This is great. Thanks for your suggestions.
