Be careful setting them up, you set most of the inequalities up the wrong way... pay attention to the side lengths. 12) should be 2x-12 < 36 and you still need to solve 2x-12>0 13) should be 2y-7<28 and you still need to solve 2y-7 > 0 14) same mistake as the others... should be 4x-10<50 and you still need to solve 4x-10 > 0

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

what about: 2x-12 < 36 and 2y-7<28 and 4x-10<50

Is that correct?

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

Correct. Now can you combine these into one inequality for each question? Do as we did in 11) x<38 and x>6 is the same as: 6 < x < 38 now try these: 12) x<24 and x>6 13) y<17.5 and y>3.5 14) x<15 and x>2.5

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

Excellent :)
