I need to analyze a poet. Whom should i do?

who do you like? It is much easier to analyze a poet that you like. Once you have picked your favorite you can then begin to analize his or her significance, forms, influences, meter ect. If you can not find a poet start with your favorite poem and find out who wrote it.
