Find all solutions in the interval [0, 2π). (sin x)(cos x) = 0 Please don't just answer I just need help on how to start it.

OpenStudy (psymon):

Well, logically, the only way you can multiply and get zero is if one of the numbers involved in the multiplication is itself 0. So you can either have sinx = 0 or cosx = 0. So what are all the values in which either of those two situations occurs?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

umm 0 is one pi/2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

does are two right?

OpenStudy (psymon):

Yep, now two more.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

pi and 3pi/2?

OpenStudy (psymon):

You got it :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wow thanks that was kinda easy i guess thanks alot!

OpenStudy (psymon):

Yeah, that one wasn't as bad compared to others xD
