i have to describe what i see but i don't know if this has a specific name...?

Hmm I see an `odd function` which has a `vertical shift` moving it up from the origin.

It's `odd` because the tails go in opposite directions.
Example: y=x^3.

If it was an `even` function the tails would go in the same direction.
Example y=x^2
