OpenStudy (ashley_f97):

There are 16 edges

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok ?

OpenStudy (ashley_f97):

I would say 10 vertices

OpenStudy (ashley_f97):

Okay wait no sorry, I what you're doing now.

OpenStudy (ashley_f97):

Here we have an octagon, it has 12 edges, and 6 vertices.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohh ok i get it

OpenStudy (ashley_f97):

Yea sorry about what I was saying at first, I literally just woke up

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol ok

OpenStudy (ashley_f97):

You pretty much look at it as the shape it'd be. Then you count the edges and vertices to get your answer. You don't want to look at it when not constructed into the figure it should be because you'd be counting over lapping edges and vertices and get the wrong answer.

ohh ok
