Where will you find the thesis sentence in an introductory paragraph? A. The first sentence of the paragraph. B. The middle of the paragraph. C. Immediately after the topic sentence. D. The last sentence of the introductory paragraph.
To be honest, this has varied for with every single teacher I have ever had. Eight grade, it was the last sentence of your first paragraph. Ninth grade, it didn't matter as long as it was in the first paragraph. However, since it's a multichoice question, take a look at it and see which ones you know are NOT right. For example, since the thesis statement and the topic sentence are the same thing, it's not going to be C. And look at the first two, A. and B., they are both missing a very important word. So what do you think? Hope this helps :)
I was always taught that it was the last sentence of the introductory paragraph.
