Find the slope, y-intercept, and equation of the line in slope-intercept form that is 2x + 5y = -10 in standard form.

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

subtract 2x from both sides of the equation then divide every term by 5 you will have an equation in slope intercept form. hope this helps

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Slope intercept form is y = mx + b, where m = slope, and b = the y-intercept. If you follow what @campbell_st wrote, once the equation is solved for y, you can just compare it to the form above and see what m, the slope, and b, the y-intercept are.
