A bullet with mass 3.5g and V velocity passes completely through a 1.2 kg wooden block 1 that is initially at rest on a frictionless surface. it them embeds itself in a second 1.8kg block 2 also initially at rest. After this block 1 has a speed of 0.63m/s and block 2 a speed of 1.40m/s a. What is the speed of the bullet when it enters block 2? b. What is the speed of the bullet when it enters block 1? c. What fraction of kinetic energy of the system has been lost?
