History Help Module 8 Exam Answers?!?! Question 8 (Multiple Choice Worth 3 points) Module [08.06HC]Jim Crow laws focused mainly on social and public interactions. What is the most likely effect of laws enforcing separation of the races? Separation encourages pride in one's culture and heritage. Separation creates a need for separate bodies of law enforcement. Separation increases voter turn-out because of the increase in poling places. Separation creates distrust and limits participation of minority groups in government. Question 9 (Multiple Choice Worth 3 points) [8.01MC]Why might a poor white Southerner who did not own slaves support the laws that kept slavery legal? The laws represented the independence and authority of their state. Wealthy plantation owners did much to improve the lives of poor white Southerners. Free whites depended on the profits from slavery to fund public education in the South. Slave labor made food inexpensive in the South and malnutrition was rare among poor whites. Why did the framers of the Constitution leave the slavery issue unresolved?

What three questions do you need help in?
@karatechopper
first 3
Dont Worry About It Thanks Anyways. :)
For the first question it was that the confederate union had to ratify the thirteenth amendment..
Now Why only that one?
Dont make Sense
The thirteenth amendment has abolished slavery. Here is an excerpt of the amendment. "Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction"
Thanks Alot! :)

Ok Did I do something wrong and that's why he told a moderator to come?
Use this information for question nine. "They didn't support slavery per say. They responded to what they thought was the threat of hostile forces invading their homeland. This is now called "Southern Pride". The rich plantation owners financed the war and fed the propaganda against them "dam Yankees". Many of the poor whites were sharecroppers and owed their livelihood to these land owners. The civil war wasn't about slavery, as Lincoln only freed the slaves in the Southern states to effect the economy and as a war strategy. The war was about the clash of two cultures and the right of states to govern themselves. You can still see this clash in the way Northerners look down on Southerners. You can see how New York is treated like a holy city by so many corporations and businesses, while the South is ignored." -Yahoo Answers
Thanks For all you great help.. :D @calculusxy
I thinks it's 'a'.
For the last question, many southerners wanted to be wealthy. And as you know the framers wanted to go willing to the people of the country's decision. Also fighting off wealthy people was hard. So the framers had to compromise.
You are lots of help can I like recommend or reward you or something?
Does this sound right for the last one? The founding fathers did not agree on slavery and knew the constitution would not be accepted unless the issue was avoided
