When you scuba dive in the ocean, there are fewer and fewer green plants the deeper you go. There are only certain depths at which these plants can grow, and the range of depths is given by the absolute inequality |13.5 – d| ≤ 13.5, where d is the depth, in meters. Solve for “d” and state the depth at which green plants can grow in the ocean. I already have an answer, but I want to check it

OpenStudy (ivettef365):

for absolute value you can have 2 answer so you have 13.5 - d <= 13.5 or 13.5 -d >=-13.5

OpenStudy (ivettef365):

so you have scenario 1 d >= 0 and scenario 2 d<= 27
