I can give you an example for Samuel FB Morse. Meaning like how he was helpful. Samuel Finley Breese Morse was a artist and then decided to become an inventor. His invention of the single wired telegraph helped soldiers transfer messages from one place to another with a set of codes. These codes were used because nobody can understand what that stood for.
The set of codes were called the MorseCode.
