just substitute the x on the function for -3
so youhave 5(-3) - 9 = ??
yes ! so that would turn into -15 - 9 , which equals -24 ?
correct so f(-3) = -24

first I would find the equation of the line, for that you need to find the slope y2-y1 ----- x2-x1
