notice the coordinates of both points
                  x      y
from   (   25,   -5  )  
       to (   18,   -1  )

is (18, -1) is the midpoint, middle point, so the next end will be just as far as (25, -5)

notice how many units it moved over the "x"
that many units it will move again to get to  the other point
