If two parallel lines are cut by a transversal and one interior angle measures 51 degrees, what is the measure of the alternate interior angle?

@Hero

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

angles on opposite sides of the traversal and and inside the parallel likes.. are equal.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok, and what about when you have to find the other angle measures? I know its supost to be a total of a certan number of degrees but I forgot the number XD

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

it the angles are on the same side of the transversal in inside the parallel lines they are called co interior and are supplementary

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i mean when there on the opisite side, wouldn't I have to do like 108 - 50 or something like that?

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

click on the draw tool... and create a sketch of what you mean.
