Kevin and Conner tracked their exercise last week. Kevin ran fifteen times around the school track, ten times around his neighborhood, and 2 miles on the treadmill. Conner ran ten times around the school track and thirteen miles on the treadmill. Write and simplify an expression for the total combined distance that Kevin and Conner ran. Show your work. Use t for the distance in miles around their school track and n for the distance in miles around Kevin’s neighborhood.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\(t\) is the distance in miles around the track, then kevin ran \(15t\) miles on the track and connor ran \(10t\) miles around the track

OpenStudy (anonymous):

apparently kevin also ran \(10n\) miles around his neighborhood

OpenStudy (anonymous):

kevin's 2 miles on the treadmill and connor's 13 miles on the treadmill add up to 15 miles total

add all this stuff up by putting plus signs between them
