how do you multiply two different matrices of a different order

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

matrix multiplication is done on a row by column basis the matrix on the LEFT SIDE uses the coefficients on it's 1st row, and multiplies against the coefficients of the RIGHT SIDE matrix 1st column then sum up the components

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

so for any matrix multiplication to happen, firstly the LEFT-SIDE matrix ROW coefficients quantity, has to be the same as the RIGHT-SIDE matrix COLUMN
