It is becoming less expensive to screen blood samples for DNA. Certain diseases have a genetic basis. What is a possible ethical concern about the availability of inexpensive DNA testing? People may be treated differently if certain genetic information is known about them. DNA testing may be too slow to actually be useful to doctors. Some diseases are not thought to have genetic causes. Cures for diseases may be developed with help from DNA research.
