Is there something Wrong? My SS just decreased by 3 points in 2 days..i am seeing many other changes too

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the history seem to show that it has been on steady climb

OpenStudy (ash2326):

From the line graph in your profile, it doesn't show that your SS has decreased. I wonder if the graph is correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea it doesn't..looks like i hopped two days back on OS

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cz last time i checked i was 77 on SS

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

When they clean out people that game the system, there can be a little collateral damage to other accounts. Revisions to the algorithm is another possibility. People deleting old posts or reallocation best response in them will do it. And long absences will cause a drop in SS.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i don't fall in 'long absences' category

OpenStudy (anonymous):

last time i checked was yesterday

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Yah, just listing short form of possibilities from last time someone asked about this. They did fall in the long absences part.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh i see

OpenStudy (rane):

The dots you see in the graph on your profile page are all moments where your smartscore on that moment was saved. If you check the pattern of these dates, you'll notice they're all on mondays. Your saved score on monday this week is 73. Then it increased to 77 on thursday/friday and it went back to 74. Since there is no save point in this period, you don't see a peak in the graph. I'll pm you the reason for the decrease.
