OpenStudy (1018):

find the number diagonals of a regular polygon if the sum of interior angles is 144. Please help me, I'm a little confused.

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

I think you are missing a zero off the angle sum...is it 1440... and not 144

OpenStudy (1018):

No, I checked. The book says 144 degrees. I tried solving it but something's wrong. I have the right answer but I can't seem to get there.

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

well I think is may be a typo. there are 2 options.... 1 interior angle is 144... or the angle sum is 1440 so something like that... the 1st polygon is a triangle with an angle sum of 180.... so I'd say a typo of some sort... and this may explain the difficulty. good luck

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

what answer do you have..?

OpenStudy (1018):

Oh wait, yeah it is a typo. I forgot, one angle is only measured 144. hehe, sorry for that. Please help.

OpenStudy (1018):

It says 35.

OpenStudy (1018):

Oh, bro I got it! Thanks for the help by the way. :)

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

ok... glad to help... I suppose...

OpenStudy (1018):

I mean, for clearing the question up. Haha. Big help. Thanks again! Hope I could ask for your help again some time.
